I have stumbled upon the hardest puzzle in Ocarina Zelda since the Goron conundrum.
Despite certain users trying to divert my attention away from the Lost Woods, I found there is a direct access to Zora's Domain there. From there, I found a direct access to lake Hylia. I have yet to find Divine Princess Vah Ruto; but I haven't explored all possibilities at lake Hylia yet and she does not appear to be in Zora's Domain.
A man charges a fortune of 20 rupees to "fish". I was able to get close to the fish very easily, but I can't find the button to grab them. It would make sense for it to be B or A, but the former is to swim and the latter dives. The mystery of fishing continues. Perhaps if one day I acquire the riches necessary, I might try to see what that man can teach in the art of fishing.
I also found a scientist so hideous, Robbie looks like a paragon of youth and health by comparison.
Nevermind that, however: there was a triangle on the floor at the lake, but no amount of ocarina tunes did anything and there's an underwater entrance to some place, but Link cannot dive that far. This is some Professor Layton puzzle, lads. I might have to open a bottle of Alzheimer's-causing nootropics to crack this mystery.
