A new day. A new chance to succeed.

I listen to the voices. The ones in my head. The ones saying "I'm not enough" or "It's not worth it."

The ones telling me lies.

I don't ignore them. I recognize the lies for what they are.

Lies.

Echoes of adults from childhood. Vibrations of frustration with growing older and it didn't help just being older.

Even now, I hear them. The lies.

But I remember all the times I was enough and it was worth it.
