maybe it exists, who knows, but i've never found a compressor that does what i need one to do, (i.e. push down extremely fast transients (like .002 seconds) by an amount to make them align with the average transient, and then release before affecting the next transient... and do all this without adding noise or weird pumping) - basically an extremely precise and extremely fast compressor.
luckily i have the tism and can spend 8 to 12 hours per track meticulously doing tiny volume envelopes
