Now I'm more in confusion. So they purposely want the money supply to stay "inflated"? I don't expect any government to act in our best interest, but seems like they'd also benefit from a shrinking money supply assuming we could survive the recession. But perhaps I need to break out my 1920s-1930s economics where the government decided that finances should become their responsibility.
