It's time for me to take another break from the news. The big, current, actually important stories aren't the problem; a few of the smaller stories of the day have made me ask myself why I'm reading this stuff... Seriously, I can accept that the world's a mess without getting regular reinforcement.

So anyway. I'm going to try to stay off the news sites until the weekend. I owe it to my brain.
