Douglas Adams had an interesting view on how people approach technology as they grow older:
Anything that is in the world when you’re born is normal and ordinary, and it’s just a natural part of the way the world works.
Anything that is invented when you’re 15-35 is new and exciting, and you can probably get a career in it.
Anything invented after you’re 35 is against the natural order of things.
Stay curious, keep your mind open and never stop learning. The last step (which is probably the mutation into “old man yelling at running trains”, and it explains why normally people grow more conservative as they grow old) doesn’t necessarily have to be there.
