Imagine for a moment that you have a brother, and one day, that brother is accused of having carried out a series of horrible terrorist bombings. You don’t believe he’d do such a thing, but the FBI does, and that’s what matters.
To you, this is all a terrible mistake. You feel like you have to protest, but an ordinary complaint won’t be enough. To get the world’s attention, it’ll have to be something dramatic. So you set up a video camera, and then, on camera, blaming the FBI for making you do this, you CUT OFF YOUR OWN HAND WITH A RADIAL SAW.
Then a few years later the FBI finally tracks down your brother and he tells them “oh yeah, I totally did that shit”
