My depression has never been that "bad" that I wouldn't have been able to look after myself (aka eat and wash myself) and go to work. It's been low level for decades, and I don't know when it started.

I have had good times when I haven't necessary been particularly depressed, but for some things the kind of "meh" feeling had prevailed. I feel I have very few emotions, and I'm not good at recognising and dealing with them.
