Grandma's box camera made me eager to try something with a few more
controls.
The weekly auction was a major source of entertainment for us. There were country people and snack food and the variety of the auction itself. (One week, a roommate got a 1953 Indian motorcycle, just like a big Harley, but not running, for $3. Never did get it to run, but my it was impressive.)
