Any way you slice it the next few years are going to suck pretty badly. I personally believe that things will eventually turn out okay, but that's for pretty idiosyncratic reasons† that, if you heard them, might make you think I was loopy, so I don't think my opinion should carry heavy weight in your own deliberations on the events of the day.

(† Sathya Sai Baba said there's going to be a Golden Age and I believe Him because I believe He's God. I'll understand if that doesn't reassure you.)
