my 1998 Subaru Legacy lasted for me for 20 years. I probably would have kept it longer if ahit and run at year 18 didn’t do some subtle to the frame. A mechanic bought it to repair and resell. I learned that from the hit and run that Subaru makes new parts for 18 year old cars. And Porsche even made a new CarPlay module for a 20 year old car.
