In 1968 we had the Vietnam war. Humphrey was the Democrat and like Harris today, he didn’t oppose the war. Like today, the voices of the left were silenced. Nixon won. Nixon prolonged the war & millions more people died. Folks who didn’t vote for Humphrey, who sat it out, regretted it. Just like folks who sat out the vote tonight will live to regret it.
