Parentng pre teens is just heart breaking. My daughter messed up on an audition tonight. She worked really hard. She was as diligent as she could be and she missed a detail so it threw her. She burst in to tears as soon as she got into the car. I can't fix it. I won't go talking to her directors or try to offer excuses but gosh it hurts to see your kid upset. And yes, I realize that this is VERY much a first world problem. Giving them room to figure things out and be disappointed is just blah!
