As an early Xmas present to myself, & in order to assuage my anxiety over losing data, I’ve just finished restructuring the #backups for our family data (photos, home videos, digitised, receipts, & other paperwork, etc. — basically our entire lives) to add redundancy.
We now have a local backup (LPL)🇬🇧 on a RAID-1, with an offsite backup in AMS 🇳🇱, & a mirrored backup in YYZ 🇨🇦.
I’ve also got my #mastodon 🐘 server, & its primary #backups, in HEL 🇫🇮 with a secondary backup in AMS 🇳🇱.
