Assume this is meant to be an attempt at sarcasm but actually you make a good point, it is a bad thing if people in the south (or anywhere else) are priced out of running a node. Bitcoin nodes should eventually become a commodity item maybe even built into home routers, anything that increases the cost even by what you might consider a small amount is bad for decentralisation. Higher fees is also not a good thing.
