It was going parabolic all the way till 2017. Since then, its been going at different sets of linear growth.
First linear growth set was from 2017 till mid 2021 (that dip is the China Bitcoin Mining Ban). The second linear set is from then on till now.
There is no more exponentiality in Hashrate because we can’t benefit from extreme efficiency gains of CPU->GPU->FPGA->Simple ASICs->More advanced ASICs. Now it’s a game of competing for the limited wafer space of the state of the art nodes agains Google, Tesla, Nvidia, Apple, etc.
