Update: The vise jaw protector wasn't in the trash with the wet paint rags that my phone fell into. (See toot above.) Somehow it ended up under the tire of my snowthrower that was parked ~5ft from the vise! I think I have a Pixie or Knocker problem. A couple of days ago the cap to my bottle of dish soap had been unscrewed & when I went to squeeze the bottle the cap came off & half of the dish soap poured out. Time to make some Cornish pasties as a peace offering to those little troublemakers!
