Like, I sincerely doubt we're ever going to install more than 3-4 times as many solar panels worldwide in any year than we did in 2023. Which was 444 gigawatts, bringing global power generation capacity from all sources to about 9,300 gigawatts.
It's not actually that hard to see a future where the annual solar market drops because saturation is beginning to cause negative feedback to growth. We already see it in individual markets. This is kinda a good thing! Means we're meeting power demand.
