Google needs to build a bridge and get over it.
Enterprises aren’t going with GCP because of Google’s track record with abandoning things right when they get popular or useful.
Seriously.
I’ve been on several projects evaluating cloud solution providers for hosting applications and every single one of them we flat out discounted GCP even if they were cheaper because we were worried Google will abandon GCP as soon as something new and shiny came along.
So instead we use AWS, Oracle, and Azure.
Simple as that.
