Yo. Talking about elections with a coworker, I said that if we are going to have voting machines, they could at least be open source and auditable. What I thought a totally uncontroversial take... he ended up trying to convince me for 15 minutes that we should just trust the programmers and companies because they're the experts. Surreal.
