The original image is from Deviant Art. The original artist posted it under CopyLeft but I wrote them to ask if I could modify it and use it for personal stuff (it's also my laptop login screen) and told them what I wanted to do. They were stoked and I was given permission.
The tree was originally red, and the background was very gray.
I'm SysAdmin but I can use GIMP so, blue tree and a "cooler" overall image with a blue tint.
