Interesting. I have a master 570 and 410 LOTO which are both unsprung cores. I defeated both of them using pick pressure on the pins to cause the counter rotation with VERY light tension. Weirdly, I had more trouble figuring out how to beat spools on sprung cores.
My 55/40 has pin 1 high enough that it needs set deeper than my TOK tensioner but has a false set right in line with my tensioner. It was also a very short spool so the counter rotation feedback into to tensioner was minimal. That really took me a while to figure out.
I have an Abus 72/40 and an American 1100 sitting in my kit taunting me. For now the PACLOCK 90a and 90a-pro are on my radar but I don't have any.
