Yeah. There are people that are basically debt slaves. I know a woman in her 70s that can't have anything to her name because of some decisions by her husband, etc. She can't have anything to her name otherwise the State goes and takes it....
It's hard to escape poverty and slavery because of this. They can't grow their wealth, make better decisions, etc, because the whole system is against them. These people are basically completely excluded from a freedom system (they're slaves).
And cryptography is one of the things that can give hope to these people because it can create opportunities to have private property and grow their wealth, escaping debt slavery.
