Most likely there NEVER WAS any gold. Bankers are selling gold that doesn't even exist and running up prices into a big bubble that's about to pop. I also think some of the gold commemorative coins are a lower gold content than advertised, because who is going to scratch a pretty commemorative coin and lower the value to find out. They just believe.
