The Path to Bitcoin and the Truth. Part ⅙.
“Breathe, breathe”, I heard a whisper in my ear.
I had no clue whether it was my own voice or someone else’s.
For 3 minutes my body was in total shock. It forgot to breathe. I’m saying IT because I and my body were separate. IT wasn’t me.
When I couldn’t take it any longer, my diaphragm started to contact, which forced this body to take its first breath.
I don’t remember my first inhale when I was born, but I do remember this one. It was the longest, hardest yet the most rewarding breath I’ve ever taken.
The first thought which came to my mind was:
“Breath is life”
Oxygen was filling up my lungs, and life started flowing through my body once again. That’s what yogis mean by life force/prana.
The second thought wasn’t as blissful:
“You fucked it up… How will you ever be able to live with this?”
Yet there was no coming back. Once you see it, you can’t unsee it. My life took a turning point. This time though - I thought I’ve gone too far searching for the truth.
Yes, I found the truth…
But it wasn’t what I expected, or could handle at the moment.
It felt as if I was a first grader who was sent to University exams. I wasn’t ready for it. I don’t think anyone is.
And then the confusion kicked in.
All I wanted to do was:
1. Kill myself
2. Forget what I saw.
My girlfriend at the time was sitting in the corner of the room. She was observing the whole thing. A few moments later she came to me, hugged me and asked:
“How was it?”
I was out of words.
I squeezed her as hard as I could and started crying. Out of gratitude and out of fear.
What I had just learned was something beyond my wildest imagination. Beyond what all the spiritual gurus were telling me at the time. Something our ego can not accept or even comprehend. It can only be felt and experienced.
“Was my life just a complete lie? Are we in a game without beginning or an end? Are we in a simulation? Some kind of a Matrix that we live in to experience it all?”
And while more questions were coming to the mind of this character… All it could think of was distracting itself and pretending this had never happened. To somehow erase this experience from its memory.
That’s why ego is better off being ignorant.

I've decided to introduce this character by telling a story on how this character came to be.
