I find myself saddened I never had an opportunity to meet Terry, whose writing so greatly informed mine. Everyone talks about They're Made of Meat and Bears Discover Fire, the second of which is one of my all-time favorite short stories. But if you haven't read it, you will very much enjoy the whimsy of England Underway, first published in Omni magazine and another favorite of mine.
