I also let my subscription lapse this year, probably two years past it being useful. I’m not quite convinced access is what made his work so much less compelling, though it certainly didn’t help. I think in part he just ran out of string — there are only so many ways to repeat yourself that controlling double sided markets is good business — and I think he also became reactionary during lockdown in the same way much of the tech class did. More correlative to the execs than causal.
