I was keen to see what happens to such a system when it runs out of power to see if it re-starts cleanly when the sun charges again. This is an ongoing issue with meshtastic stuff, where at best I get a return to factory settings on a RAK system: though RAK + waveshare D solar power manager seems in my tests to work. Am really not happy with frequent firmwear updates either ... and looking for better update processes.. Plus sending more than text message is a bit of a nicety.
