I cannot for the life of me understand how anyone is surprised with the vagueness of trumps EO regarding “crypto”.
Think for a second. How else would you have excepted the United States of America to go about this?
Did you think Trump was going to announce a smash buy of 1,000,000 BTC before making said smash buy? What sense would that make?
Do they not have a lot to gain by undermining what Tether is doing? Would that not require stablecoin regulation?
I have no idea what’s going on behind closed doors but at the end of the day if you really believe bitcoin is perfect, unconfiscatable, immutable money… what are you worried about.
