Saying algorithms are bad is the same as saying Facebook are completely innocent sweet cinnamon rolls who only accidentally stole your data. And Elon is just accidentally pushing authoritarian propaganda on us, the precious little baby. Algorithms aren't bad. The people in control are making bad algorithms.
But yeah the Fediverse kind of sucks at recommending things. And search is just poopy.
