They are a company that own a bunch of malls, and got caught doing the same thing with their information kiosks - those big signs with touch screens that tell you where all the stores are. They were collecting the same sort of demographic info, along with what stores said demographic was searching for.
In some ways this is all probably harmless. But we know what happens with greedy corporations when let off on a slippery slope.
