To be clear, as a person who wears glasses myself, I am well aware that financial cost is a major barrier to many people having glasses. These things tend to lie on a spectrum. The main point is how normalized glasses are, how wearing them rarely even excites comment. People who wear glasses aren't "brave" or "inspirational". To most, we're just treated as normal people living our lives
