Before the debate between Trump and Harris on Tuesday there were reports and social media posts about some immigrant Haitians in Ohio capturing and eating wildlife. Some twitter posts made a claim that someone was stealing peoples cats and eating them. Trump and Vance doubled down on it along with Elon. It came up as a thing during the debate and ABC moderator immediately fact checked Trump claiming the Mayor of the town/city said no such thing happened. There are places in the world where people do eat cats and dogs and so its not much of a stretch to believe this happened as stated.
