i saw someone else here share this: a couple days ago the NSA published, in 2 parts, a 1982 lecture by Grace Hopper (a pioneer of computer programming) given to NSA employees where she primarily discusses how they ought to be preparing for the future. it’s titled “Future Possibilities: Data, Hardware, Software, and People”. i’ve never actually seen her talk before, but if you’re expecting something dry and humourless, you’ll change your tune within the first 3 minutes.
