Climate change's biggest threat, IMO as someone who saw this coming since the late 90s.... is the failure of crops. ppl adjust to a lot of things. terrible things, even, like death bc of heat stress. but i don't think the western world is ready for any type of mass food shortage & what that may do to the veneer of civilization in the armed USA.
i'm already seeing news of pretty serious crop failures due to #ClimateChange in other countries. itll be here eventually
