Funny thing I notice about this scene is that in this future, they're still using the magic 555 phone numbers from TV and Movies and no area code. Those oldies among us remember that in '82, when this movie came out, we still had enough phone numbers in an area that we didn't need to add extra area codes to fulfill demand.
