All of that being said, I do think Mastodon has the best writing community. Unlike other SM platforms, the content here is usually writing-related, not random crap posted just to increase the number of followers one has.
Personally, I'm here to post about my writing. I want to share my thoughts with people who want to read them. If that sparks interest to engage, that's wonderful! If not, that's okay, too. To each their own.
