Just realized I’m a moron sometimes. So the “native pear” I grafted into is actually a native peach. Oklahoma doesn’t have a native pear. I was so exideted to try grafting that I totally brain farted. That said, If I were a betting man, I’d say 2 of these grafts aren’t going to take.

Taking a shot at #grafting today with some Asian #pear scion wood. Grafted to a native pear, Bartlett pear, and a kiefer pear. This is a learning experience for me. I’ve never attempted grading before. It may be too early in the season for sap to be flowing but I thought I’d give it a shot.
