A group of Inky Caps I found last year.
Definitely my favorite fungus (I even have a tattoo of one lol)
In this state they're edible (tho I hate the taste and texture of mushrooms, but I've heard they're pretty tasty for those who do eat mushrooms) and when they get melty you can collect the ink and use it to write with (some monks in Ye Olde Times™️ used them if they couldn't get access to certain inks).
