It’s irrelevant because Damus is doing it correctly within those SAME guidelines, that is my point. It is not Apple doing this, it is Primal.
Primal has made a choice that leads to downstream consequences antithetical to this community.
If Primal wants to protect its security, its reputation, and the reputation of all of the OGs that have driven user adoption, they will follow Damus’ lead. on iOS.
Why is this important? because we are poised to see an influx of non technical freedom lovers on these clients, they use iOS. The freedom of mobility the NOSTR back-end provides only goes so far when one client dominates another in terms of usability. So, holding platforms to account now, while the land grab is occurring is the only way we don’t repeat the harmful mistakes of the past and avoid becoming the thing we hate.
