Uh oh, I've introduced you to a new endless path of adventure!! Brush pens definitely take some getting used to, but can be pretty amazing. My most favourite is the Kaimei (also works with carbon black cartridges) brush pens - they are a bit harder to find, but I love the brush tips. Pentel makes a nice brush pen and their ink is also waterproof, and might be a good one to try also - pretty reasonably priced. Hmmm, as for Kuretake I tend to prefer the non-artificial bristles, but their artificial ones work well also. They can get a bit pricey, but the brush part is largely the same in all with the only difference being synthetic or actual hair.

This guy's sketching site has a pretty good rundown on brush pens (seems he disagrees with me on carbon ink cartridges in brush pens as I just noticed haha, but I have been doing it for SO many years. He also has a good page on other tools including fude nibs

He mentions holding brush pens vertically which I found awkward at first, but pretty handy once I got used to it - I like brush pens over the fuse fountain pen, but still trying to adapt to that one. 😄 (sorry, giganta-post)
