In just about every movie youve ever seen if a fighter jet is involved its almost guaranteed its engaging a target at effectively point blank range. Most often time theyll fire missles at a taget within human visual range you see this a lot in monster movies during the climax and if youve watched a movie in the last 15 years its was likely an f35 cgi model. All the shit you see in movies is fantasy in regards too jets. They dont just launch missles at whatever and F35s have never once loosed a missle in agression at anything outside of syria. But a lot of people have that as their only frame of reference and apparently lots of people believe it.
