But even lower-cost chains like Kroger's have surprisingly good meat and produce. Plus Wegmans has just moved in, which kind of crushes the Whole Foods niche.
We were just up in Massachusets and Connecticut,, and were really pleased (and a little surprised) with the selection at the Big Ys up there.
Sounds like SF may need some more grocer competition. :D
