The media’s hottakes about making the provisional measures ruling about a ceasefire is incredibly frustrating.

This wasn’t a referendum on the ceasefire provision. The provisional measures ordered can only be effectively rendered with a #ceasefire. I think they were reluctant to rule on a ceasefire because of the hostages.

It also reminded nation states they have an obligation to PREVENT genocide (aka stop arming Israel).
