npub12u6j2x8hw4v9vdx93f6t33np2gxlp5fa9h9jmcepaa6jvrmu6g9sl95j3z (npub12u6…5j3z) This articleseems to imply that the Archive has professional catalogers who they have paid to catalog their periodicals. In the past, it took these Archive-paid people 45 min each time to create a bib record for a periodical. It also seems to imply that those same people are able to shift their time spent per periodical from that 45 min to something like ten minutes thanks to AI. I'm curious about these assertions. I do like the idea of AI-assisted cataloging but I wonder if this is it?
