Back when I fixed cable ad insertion equipment there was a headend that was full of mice. We had to make sure to seal up the tape machines or the mice would get in and chew up the wiring.

A coworker commented that it must be like a rodent amusement park with the spinning tape head drum and tape handling mechanisms randomly going off to play commercials.
