For anyone coming back to this. I figured it out.
1. I had an old version of #amethyst on my phone that didn't seem to have the settings for #blossom servers
2. I use #caddy as a reverse proxy and manually created a .well-known/nostr/nip96.json response file (not sure if this is necessary for blossom)
