If Elon not paying his vendors sounds familiar, it's because these guys all follow the same sociopathic playbook: use overwhelming economic power to ruthlessly exploit those with signicantly less power and then market the proceeds of that exploitation as "genius." Once someone achieves a certain level of wealth—often inherited—there is virtually no disincentive to such behavior other than violating one's morals, and these guys don't have any morals. Another reason we need a (big) wealth tax.
