I have taken a very hard line approach to doing exactly this for the best part of two decades.
I have a home, fully equipped with day to day items I actually use that will probably outlive me.
The initial investments hurt like hell because you pay proper money for quality, but when I look at the items I have and use on a daily basis, and think of all the shit I haven't bought because of it, I feel really good!
Really good!
I could talk for hours about this stuff 👍
