But the \"opening to other countries\" means Threads is opening Federation on their end to more of their users in other countries. If you aren't on Threads, that part literally doesn't effect you at all.\n\nTherefore, if you aren't planning on trying it from the Threads side, the only thing you can do is wait for replies to federate, which seems like it MIGHT be the next step.",
